ABOUT
Creators residing in Spain were invited to develop an artistic project (new work or work in progress). The main objective of the call was to provide follow-up and support for a project (from its research, conceptualization, and formalization) committed to the ecological crisis and the themes addressed by the IPS. The program supports artistic projects and concludes with a public sharing event.

En esas cuatro huellas no caben mis zapatos, Emmanuela Soria Ruiz
During her time with us Emmanuela Soria Ruiz explored the hegemonies embedded in personal stories, mythology, literature and architecture through sculptures, videos, installations and performances. Committed to a feminist consciousness and practice, her work seeks to transform experiences of gender violence into frameworks for intersectional and interspecies activism and survival. For this residency, she developed a work process marked by research and intuition, through a posthuman and feminist reinterpretation of myths, exploring an open creation process that includes singing, performance and movement.
